Dear Member,

"Some day, in years to come, you will be wrestling with the great temptation, or trembling under the great sorrow of your life. But the real struggle is here, now, in these quiet weeks. Now it is being decided whether, in the day of your supreme sorrow or temptation, you shall miserably fail or gloriously conquer. Character cannot be made except by a steady, long-continued process." Phillips Brooks

The past few weeks have been a turmoil in my life, and this quotation hit a cord with me today. As an eternal optimist, it is unusual to have a down time. Like my Rabbi said in a sermon one Friday night, "And this too shall pass." Thank you to all my friends that have seen me through this time. I know my character will get me through and I will conquer.

A special thank you to Phyllis and Kris.
