Relationship networking provides us with the opportunity to really get to know individuals. By asking questions, delving into their work history, and helping them succeed, we are able to make a difference in people's lives, and they in turn make a difference in ours. What have you done to show your gratitude to the referral base you have created?

I received an email the other day that I would like to share with you. It is a link to a video stream that I found quite moving. It is my gift to each of you during this holiday season. It is called "The Dash"

After watching this video stream, I emailed my brother Max who I have not spoken to in over 5 years. On my trip to California this year, I will make the effort to mend the rift that we so foolishly created. If I am able to communicate with thousands of strangers, I should be able to communicate with my own brother.

Life is too short to hold grudges - especially with family. My challenge to you - if you have someone that was important in your life and you are not speaking, try to mend the fence. Make the first move. We need to be grateful for our time and earth and to the people we know.

The National Networker Website

Adam J. Kovitz, CEO, Editor-in-Chief & King of Business NetWorking has a website called The National Networker. He has a newsletter you can sign-up for and there are some good articles in there. You can also reach The National Networker on the affiliate page of The Professional Networker. The newsletter has articles about network marketing, women in networking, real estate, etc... I hope you enjoy his newsletter. It is also free.
